Making Cement Plugs Easier

The FloMaster tool is a Fluid Control Tool deployed downhole to assist in the cementing operation. Multiple fluids need to be pumped before the actual cement slurries, and these fluids need to be uncontaminated to achieve adequate well clean out.

​

The FloMaster is available in two variants, a drill-pipe conveyed tool (FloMaster DP) which is ideal for P&A, side-tracking and kick-off operations, and a Casing variant (FloMaster CS) designed for drilling operations where issues in cement placement may occur.

 

Both variants of the tool are made bespoke to each customer and each well, where Size, Weight, Grade and Thread of the tubular is taken into account.

The tool is delivered as a pup-joint, casing or drill pipe, with the FloMaster modules already pre-installed within the required pup-joint. The tool is then simply made up as per the connection specification.
